I'm thinking of buying a Contax Bellows for use with my Canon XTi. Can anyone tell what the proper adapter would be and where to get it?

Thanks- Preston

If the Contax bellows are the RTS camera bodies, then a basic Contax C/Y - Canon EOS adapter will work fine. And since it's bellows, adapter thickness is doesn't really matter.

I have never used the Contax bellows, so I'm not 100% sure of this. You could double check at:

1) http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/board/55 - member "Rico" has talked of the bellows before.

2) http://popcapture.com/forums/index.php?&CODE=00 - forum owner, Son, has definitely used the bellows.

In regards to the PopCapture forums, it seems the boards have been reset. I'm not sure what's going on there. The Fred Miranda site is probably your best bet.

i have that tilt-shift-bellow( front only)called contax auto-bellow pc. i will use dslexchange adaptor. i will buy a second bellow and novoflex will add a novoflex-universal-mount. this will be done for the first time. so i can use any novoflex-camera-adapter. they cost 70 euros. orignal contax/yashica-combination used-there is a cable s37s for exposure-simulation. would be interesting if the cable could be used on a zeiss to contax/eos-combination. so one end must have canon-connector. i have tried out(not used) all kind of heads(enlarging/copylenses). its impressive. zoerk-multifocus-system is easier to handle and has more options. novoflex has ineresting multi-use shift/tilt-bellows.
