After reading your 645 Blog, & Rebalancing the Fund, I am staying put with my 5D for the time being. My first plan was to purchase a used Mamiya AFD or II but now I would lead toward the Contax as of the 3 AF points. But still that ain't very many. My 5D has 9 +6 and even that is just enough in some situations. Considering I may want my 3:2 aspect ration to be fully realized in an 8x10" print or even a 16x20" I need to back up when composing, there are times when another point or more would be most helpful.
As it is now unless I were to find the deal of a lifetime my plans are on hold. My latest plan was of course to wait till the 5DII had been out for a year, but they are taking their sweet time. That may be a good thing as they are probably incorporating Live View & more AF points and even a 3" lcd. But we'll have to see & in the meantime my 5D is becoming less valuable.
Any ideas where best to keep up with the next 5D banter?

If you're itching to read rumors www.dpreview.com - check out the Canon dSLR forum www.fredmiranda.com - Ditto, Canon forum Those are the main ones, others include - www.luminous-landscape.comwww.sportsshooter.comPS - The Mamiya 645AFD III has three auto focus points; the Contax 645AF only has one. While you're trying to find the latest on the 5D Mark II (or whatever Canon decides to call it), keep an eye on the Mamiya 645AFD III and the ZD II back. No formal announcement regarding a ZD II back, but it would seem likely in light of the 645AFD III. Check out my page on the ZD back - http://www.pebbleplace.com/Personal/Mamiya_ZD_Back.htmlI keep that page updated with the latest hub-bub.
