LATEST ADAPTER INFO WITH A CANON 1DS MARK IIICurrently I am using the 18mm Distagon on Canon 1Ds Mark III with a HappyPageHK adapter purchased around June 1, 2008. The 18/4 is a MM lens and work fine with HappyPageHK adapter. His auction have a notice warning against some possible MM lens issues. The 18/4 Distagon does not have such a pin, so there is no problem. This HappyPageHK adapter is ~1.445mm thick - that's .02mm thicker than his older ones. So far I have not had any infinity focus issues.

For some added documentation - here's a picture of the 18mm Distagon F4 AE mount. Notice the angled retaining ring holding the rear element:
And this is a picture of MM mount:
Thus far it looks like a the AE version is more likely to work with the Canon 5D - probably due to the different retaining ring design. Either will work on the Canon 1Ds and 1.6x bodies.
