Look for updates around December 2008 - some new gear is on the way. Waiting for an international shipment to find its way "home" Smile

For new comers, here is the original blog with the Mamiya 645AFD II and Phase One P25: http://www.pebbleplace.com/Personal/Medium_Format_Blog/Medium_Format_Blog.html

As promised, the 645 Blog has a couple new entries with... drum roll please... the Mamiya ZD camera. Not the digital back, but the dSLR camera -

Yep, you don't see those everyday Smile I've also added some Mamiya ZD MEF raw files to the second entry, so if you have Phase One's C1 software (version 4.1 or higher), Lightroom or Mamiya's software, then you can open them up and have some fun.

Three new entries are available in the ZD adventure:

The 1st day with the ZD:

Some first impressions about the Mamiya ZD's handling along with 6 RAW files (MEF's) available for download:

Continuing the first impressions, moving onto the AF, the LCD, Image Buffer and a couple other items:

More to come of course Smile

I had made tentative plans to send the ZD in for a firmware update so it would work with the Mamiya-Sekor "D" lenses. A used a 80mm F2.8 AF "D" came up on Ebay for a pretty good price (compared to buying new), so a rolled the dice. Turns out the lens works perfectly on the ZD. I'll probably skip the firmware update. More to come on the blog, but for now here is a glamour shot Smile
